SINALOA - footprints on floorboards LP

Sinaloa is a band doing it the right way… poignant, poetic lyrics hauntingly and beautifully sung, spoken, and shouted over rolling music. The drums push things along, creating a head-nodding cadence that is accentuated by dueling rhythmic guitars. At times it’s harmonious and melodic, others dissonant and unsettling, but it’s always moving. This record honestly sends shivers down my spine. All of the members share vocal duties and the lyrics, both strongly personal and political, are accompanied with explanations for maximum communication and understanding. With guest appearances by folks from Tiny Hawks and Pretty Faces on stand up bass and trombone for good measure, this record is a fantastic total package.
