Damezumari plays tightly knit, dynamic hardcore that is a cross between early Hot Cross, though not as abrasive mixed with more tuneful modern post hardcore such as Life at These Speeds. If you dig technicaly minded post punk/screamo stuff Damezumari will be your new favorite band! And with all of this talk of Damezumari I don't want that to overshadow the fantastic batch of songs that Texas based Fire Team Charlie contributes to this split. Fire Team Charlie play passionately sung mid west emo that is beatifully frantic at times and recalls taut stop/start hardcore of Yaphet Kotto as well as the melodic anthemic clamor of Sinaloa or even a pinch of Rites of Spring.
