Being that i am human, and do make mistakes, please make sure you bring up any issues or mistakes to me directly. Please use common courtesy when emailing any inquiries. If you email me a simple inquiry, and make me aware of the problem i will apologize and respond accordingly and nicely and take care of the situation. If you dont bother to simply ask about something and your first email is assuming i made the mistake on purpose and is a scathing sarcastic rant about how im "obviously" ripping you off and throwing threats and demands, more than likely you wont recieve a friendly response.
Please do not email me to ask what color a certain record is on. All new distro items are sold by the record, and are not separated by color/pressing/etc. No color or version is or will ever be guaranteed to any person. I get a lot of different colors and pressings in from orders and restocks, some exclusive colors, some tour pressings, etc. I dont open every record to see what color they are, so most times i don't even know myself which colors or versions i have. When someone orders a record, i grab one off the shelf and package it up. Any rarities are randomly packaged, and i dont even know who gets what color. The only records i specify and guarantee a certain color are the used records of which im selling a specific record by itself. That way, people buy the new records because they want the music, and no one is mad or bummed if they just get the normal version, but the occasional kid gets surprised and stoked when he realizes he got the limited version.
Vinyl Junkie sells both new AND used records. An asterisk is used to denote any previously played records. All the used records are also in their own separate categories. (though the search function brings up both new and used) If there is a * in front of the title, it means the record is used. anything sorted by size or letter, and does NOT have an * is brand new.
90% of the new distro items i sell are not shrinkwrapped, but they are still new as sold just as straight from the label/band directly.
The website is tied into the inventory database. If you can see it on the website you can safely assume that i have the item in stock. There is no need to email me and check if your order is in stock. If an item sells out its immediately removed from the website and can no longer be seen by the customer.
