A lot of you may know that over the last few years i have consistently bought collections, and lots of records, and have sold a good chunk of that stuff on ebay. a lot of what i made went straight into making this distro bigger/better. I have decided that as an alternative to selling stuff on ebay continually, i would skip paying their outrageous fees, and following their lame rules and just sell stuff on here. You can notice that i have added extra categories on the side. One for Rare used items, and one for Cheap Used items. I have literally thousands of records to go through. i will be continually listing stuff in those categories. Most of the stuff is first come first serve, and the majority of items in the used category i will only have one copy of. Everything is guaranteed to play and be in good shape, and i will list any major problems (water damage, corner cuts, skipping etc) in the description. keep checking back regularly as you never know when something you have been looking for will pop up. If you have any suggestions, praise, hate mail, questions, dont hesistate to contact us. PS. if you have a collection/lot of records you want to unload get in touch. whether you are getting out of hardcore, moving, or just have a stack of stuff you dont listen to, im interested.




COLORED VINYL!!!!


So we have been getting a ton of emails, and messages, etc, in regards to colored vinyl. Especially in regards to some of the bands we have, or have stocked, that are cool to get all the colors/pressing (against me, hot water music, get up kids etc). A lot of people want to see what colors we have, and whether or not they can reserve a certain color. the short answer is......no. We get a lot of colored vinyl in. limited pressings, not so limited pressings. sometimes we even get record release versions, alternate packaging versions, and in a couple instances, we have even had a couple of labels make a special version only available through this distro and nowhere else. We dont however, tell people about them. or make a different item for each color. or fill orders with specific colors, or super limited colors. if you are a repeat customer who has ordered a ton from us, you may get lucky a little more often with colors, but its pretty much all at random. when i get records in, i dont even check colors all the time. i just put them in the box at random, and fill orders with records at random. i am hoping people order the records to listen to them because they want the record. i love the idea of someone ordering a record they want, and being totally surprised and excited when they open a package and see its a limited edition version/color. and if not, they are still totally happy that they have the record. and that doesnt really happen nowadays. everyone orders just to get a limited color and everyone knows exactly what they are getting in advanced, and instead of being happy with the record, end up bummed and pissed off if they dont get the most limited color/version. i have nothing against people who collect every pressing and every color, thats awesome. more power to you (i gotta say, those collection pictures on messageboards are pretty sweet). unfortunately its just more of a hassle, and a lot less fun for me to guarantee specific colors to anyone/everyone. if it means that we sell a couple less copies than the other guys, then so be it. ive never been in it to sell the most copies, or make the most money anyway. everytime i tell someone our policy they think we are just being dicks. Sorry if you dont like the policy.
